Sneezy seatmates, coughing commuters – being sick (or, worse, getting sick) while traveling is a real bummer. But at Renaissance Schaumburg, Chef Joshua Humphrey of Sam & Harry’s is amping up the TLC on the menu by swapping the usual Chicken Noodle Soup with his own tried-and-trusted recipe.
His Thai Chicken Noodle Soup has non-traditional ingredients like coconut milk and lemongrass, which are great for healing a runny nose. “Who doesn’t crave a steaming bowl of soup when they’re feeling under the weather?” asks Humphrey. “At the Renaissance, we thrive on making guests feel at home, and there’s nothing like a bowl of Thai Chicken Noodle Soup when it’s cold outside to do just that.”
Trek down to the hotel’s restaurant to get a taste. And hey, if you’re already feeling under the weather, just order in. Seriously.
