A celebrity chef is kind of like a rockstar. A rockstar who can make delicious things. While bands spend a good part of their career on the road, it’s no surprise that chefs have taken to touring, as well. The Celebrity Chef Tour, benefiting the James Beard Foundation, is making its way across the USA and Canada right now.
The tour stopped in DC on May 6th to set up shop at Renaissance Mayflower DC where 150 guests had the unique opportunity to dine in the Grand Ballroom where Mayflower’s chef, Abdellah Aguenaou, helped make the night a success alongside celebrity chefs Richard Blais, Carla Hall, and CJ Jacobsen.

Check Mate. The Hollywood and political glitterati came together last night at the Capitol File White House Correspondent’s Dinner after party hosted by Niche Media, Bing and yours truly. The fete took place at the historic Renaissance Mayflower DC and quickly become the “Nerd Prom” for the cool kids.
Kim Kardashian and Ashley Judd stopped by the RLife lounge to have their photos snapped and could immediately share the shots with their fans via Facebook and Twitter.
The several hundred guests mixed with the likes of co-hosts Wolf Blitzer and Bobby Flay and danced to the musical stylings of DJ Cassidy in the Mayflower’s iconic Grand Ballroom.
