Angel Taylor is one of our favorite singers. The lady with the soulful voice has been busy with a lot this year—including a Renaissance Hotels tour across the US. It’s never any sweat off our back to host such a talented musician.
Angel Taylor did us the honor of performing at another one of our hotels recently. On July 23rd, Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, in Indian Wells, California, opened the doors of their hot lounge, Stir, to her. Over 100 people were in attendance for this intimate acoustic session. Angel mingled with fans in the crowd after the show. We sat around brainstorming how to get her performing at Renaissance even more frequently…

You know what’s really cool? When unsigned musicians have a way to compete for a paid gig. That kind of opportunity doesn’t come around often–particularly in musician-filled areas like Hollywood. But Renaissance Hollywood has broken the mold.
Renaissance Hollywood, the home of Indie Thursdays, has recently given indie bands a chance to compete against one another. Six bands compete the first Thursday of the month to determine three lucky winners. What do the winners get? A paid gig at Renaissance for an Indie Thursday performance of their own. Ask any struggling musician and they’ll confirm for you that this is pretty awesome. Want to visit Hollywood and see what all the fuss is about? Check out the specials going on right now.
Angel Taylor (with Jason Kanakis) played to a packed audience at the Renaissance Dupont Circle hotel in the nation’s capital on, appropriately enough, President’s Day. Despite the holiday, and the threat of yet a third snowstorm in a week, the crowd turned out for an opportunity to enjoy an intimate show with this rising star. And were they treated to a show — almost a full-hour of songs and stories from this wise 21-year-old. And those fans who stuck around got treated to an encore downstairs, where Angel spied a grand piano earlier in the day and confessed that the piano is her preferred instrument.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes clip of her at the piano confessing her love for the TV show the Bachelor.
Four more stops left on this exclusive Renaissance Tour.
Angel Taylor, a break out artist under the umbrella of Columbia Records, kicked off her current tour February 4th in Seattle. The internet is buzzing with raving reviews from the performances since and without any further ado, I have a message for the Northeast: Clear your schedules for this weekend or be forever disappointed in yourself. Angel will be hitting New York Saturday the 13th, Boston on the 14th, and D.C. on the 15th. Not only are these concerts free and open to the public at the respective Renaissance Hotels, but this girl can belt out a note or two about love…if you’re picking up what I’m putting down, you’ll pencil Angel Taylor into your Valentine’s Day weekend.
Angel Taylor is sweet. She has a sweet voice, sweet lyrics, and a really sweet tour coming up with Renaissance. We’re partnering up with Columbia Records/Aware to bring Angel to cities across America—for free. FREE.
And, it’s a Renaissance EXCLUSIVE. You will not see Angel Taylor live anywhere else.
Angel will be kicking off the tour on February 4th at our Renaissance Seattle Hotel. All of Angel’s shows will begin at 6:30 pm. They’ll be open to the public and the public won’t have to pay a dime to watch this budding songstress perform live. Angel’s tour dates are below. She has been lauded by entertainment icons like VH1, iTunes, and Billboard Magazine…and the praise is just beginning. Catch this girl for free while you still can.
