Whether it was Feng Shui, good juju or just a space designed to let the ideas flow, the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel proved to have just what the founders of Bill Me Later needed to get things off the ground. Bill Me Later, a Baltimore area online payments company that was snapped up by eBay/Paypal for $945 million last year, began in the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace, where its first office was located.
