Oscar Stars Shining at Renaissance Hollywood

Glamour and glitz. Limos and designer clothes. Hollywood’s super-fine gather annually for the Oscars. They strut their stuff, smile for the cameras, and show up at the Renaissance Hollywood hotel. Ryan Seacrest, our fave American Idol host, made an appearance at the hotel on Oscar night, but that was just the beginning.
After the awards, the Governor’s Ball was held at Renaissance Hollywood. Oscar-clutching stars like Jeff Bridges, Sandra Bullock, and Kathryn Bigelow mingled with other stars like Oprah Winfrey and John Travolta. These big names were all wined and dined with star-worthy food and drinks crafted by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.
We at Renaissance couldn’t have been happier with the star-studded night. Dan Shaughnessy of Renaissance Hollywood watched the Oscar winners and their fellow presenters exit the stage of the Kodak Theatre and stroll down to “winners walk’” before heading back to the hotel for press photography and interviews. At the end of the night, the winners were escorted straight to the Governors Ball.
Maybe the ball was such a success because Robin Williams announced it early in the evening as “one of the many balls being held all over Hollywood tonight.” Or maybe Renaissance Hollywood just knows how to help throw the perfect party.

Take a guess who will become the new Idol? Will it be Lee DeWyze or Crystal? It has been the most emotional season by far. Can’t wait to find out who will win.
