Former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, recently spoke at Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel while stopping through town to promote his new book, “To Save America.” Part of his plan to save America includes “getting back to the basics”—a phrase he used while addressing the audience that gathered in the hotel to listen to him speak.
Renaissance Hotels are a regular stopping point for political speakers—Obama spoke at Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace in the Inner Harbor earlier this year. He spoke directly to Republicans at the Republican House Retreat. So yeah. You can come to Renaissance and relax in the hot tub. But you can also line up your stay with a politician’s speech and get all riled up—and then hit the Renaissance bar.
