If you’re trying to relax in Denver, go to the office—The Corner Office, that is. The kitschy, yet hip restaurant bar is good for more than just cheeseburger sliders and lobster mac ‘n’ cheese. The art in the place draws in diners all by itself.
The most recent addition to the restaurant is a graffiti art piece crafted by the Renaissance Blackstone Chicago general manager, Robert Cartwright. Cartwright had a hand in the recent graffiti display at Blackstone, and, if we may say so—the guy is good. The piece at The Corner Office is filled with bright greens and purples below an image of the Denver skyline. David Villorente helped to create this mural, and the guys suggest you take the art in while sipping on a Graffiti-tini. Not sure how to make a Graffiti-tini? Here’s a hint from The Corner Office:
3 oz. vodka
2 oz. melon puree (honeydew melon, mint, fresh squeezed lemon, simple syrup)
½ oz. mint-infused simple syrup
Serve up, in a chilled glass.
