You know what’s really cool? When unsigned musicians have a way to compete for a paid gig. That kind of opportunity doesn’t come around often–particularly in musician-filled areas like Hollywood. But Renaissance Hollywood has broken the mold.

Renaissance Hollywood, the home of Indie Thursdays, has recently given indie bands a chance to compete against one another. Six bands compete the first Thursday of the month to determine three lucky winners. What do the winners get? A paid gig at Renaissance for an Indie Thursday performance of their own.
