Fellow R-lifers, let us bow our head.

The fact is that while some people are able to live on moderation and temperance,we’d rather live on red wine and buttery, creamy, carbo-fabulous French food – the kind found (where else?) in Paris.

Like at Makassar Lounge and Restaurant, the newest Parisian hotspot with its separate Indonesian and French Menus. Or at Pinxo, with decadent Basque dishes and a whopper of a wine list located in the swanky Vendome district. Or Le Relais du Parc, where Alain Ducasse opened his first restaurant and continues his culinary brilliance with a new mid-priced menu. And La Brasserie’s new take on traditional French cuisine.

Sinful, yes, but not a sin. Amen to that.
